Created in 1994, Cosmetic Valley has the benefit of over 20 years' experience of supporting companies in the cosmetics and fragrances sector: network development, support in relation to exports and help with innovation.

Today, over 400 companies in the sector have already placed their trust in Cosmetic Valley: groups and SMEs as well as entrepreneurs. All trades are covered: chemistry, packaging, manufacturing, tests and analysis, brands, services, IT, etc. Cosmetic Valley is a company of a manageable size which has successfully maintained a start-up attitude, providing services to assist entrepreneurs with all types of innovative projects.

Links with the academic world

Cosmetic Valley has close links with the French academic research sector: Universities, CNRS, INRA, School of Engineering, etc. Over 200 collaborative projects are already under way between academic researchers and industrial researchers as a result of the networking initiatives of Cosmetic Valley.

A major experience in Open Innovation

Main international clients have already instructed Cosmetic Valley to organize meetings with SMEs, laboratories and start-ups: Alliance Boots, Chanel, Johnson & Johnson, L'Oréal, LVMH, Procter & Gamble, Puig, Shiseido. The meetings were highly successful, leading to win-win collaboration opportunities.

An international network of partners

Cosmetic Valley has forged strong links with international networks dedicated to cosmetics and fragrances across all five continents: Société Française de Cosmétologie, Polo della Cosmesi (Italy), Japan Cosmetic Center, Beauty Cluster (Barcelona, Spain), Biointropic (Colombia), Québec International (Canada), TahitiFa'ahotu (Polynesia) etc.

 

It was therefore a natural move for Cosmetic Valley to set up Cosmetic 360, a trade fair serving as a forum for exchange focussed on innovation, providing opportunities for all these players to meet and shape the beauty industry of tomorrow.
