At the heart of these ingredients, all of nature's performance, enhanced by cutting-edge processes (bioguided extraction, enzymatic bio-purification, fermentation, bioconversion, etc.), whose bioactivity and clinical efficacy are demonstrated by in vitro studies on skin cells, ex vivo on skin explants and in vivo on human volunteers. The active cosmetic ingredients developed by Greentech are based on major scientific expertise (microbiota, psycholobiology/skin-brain axis, exposome, biomimetism) and cover all cosmetic applications for the care, maintenance and protection of the skin, scalp, nails and hair.
Greentech encourages a culture of scientific excellence, through the cross-fertilisation of the multidisciplinary expertise of its researchers and through active collaboration with academic and private research (collaboration with public research laboratories, participation in consortiums, publication of articles in international scientific journals, conferences, organisation by the Greentech Foundation of the Skin Physiology International Meeting). Greentech also cultivates excellence in quality, by complying with the requirements of several standards and certifications required by the international cosmetics market (ISO 26000, ISO 22716, GMP, ECOCERT, For Life & Fair For Life, Ecovadis Gold in 2021…).

PHENIX EN PROVENCE® is a 50/50 joint-venture between Inaturals SAS (an independent R&D office creating natural ingredients) and the CAPL (Agricultural Cooperative of Provence Languedoc) created in 2021. The mission of PHENIX EN PROVENCE® is to support value-creating cosmetic and well-being brands in a clean label ingredients approach, by supplying high-quality ingredients of French origin derived from food by-products and at the same time by strongly promoting the short-circuit and local farmers in Provence. Thanks to scientific collaborations between academic and private research (presentations at renowned international congresses, publication of articles in impactful scientific journals), PHENIX EN PROVENCE® offers extracts from agri-food co-products at the same level of excellence in quality and of research than a natural ingredient resulting from a traditional culture, with in addition, a low carbon footprint and an immediate valorization of the farmers, associated with this project. PHENIX EN PROVENCE® maintains excellence in quality, and since its creation in 2021 has already been COSMOS ORGANIC certified for the 3 ingredients derived from organic tomato co-products, marketed under the Intelligene® brand:
- Intelligene® Water (Inci: Solanum lycopersicum (tomato) fruit water; function: Fragrance)
- Intelligene® Oil (Inci: Solanum lycopersicum (tomato) seed oil, function: Emollient) and
- Intelligene® Defense (Inci: Solanum lycopersicum (tomato) fruit lipids; function: Skin conditioning), a cosmetic active for sensitive skin and wellbeing, with 4 clinical studies and an international patent (application ongoing).
Since the beginning of 2023, the company has been implementing several standards and certifications (ISO 22716, Fair for Life (Ecocert), Ecovadis and ISO 26000).
Our vision: We know that our linear societal system of exploitation is deeply flawed because it depletes natural resources, generates waste and does not value up to the height of the efforts, the beginning of the value chain, at the origin of the fruit, the farmers. Thus, we propose a new win-win economic model, replacing at our scale, this old system by a model of restoring the value of agriculture in a short cycle. For us, the “food “by-product” does not exist as such, but it is only the feed for the next cycle. The ambition of PHENIX EN PROVENCE® is to be a zero-waste company in the years to come, by promoting its own co-products.
