The Unimate was the very first industrial robot revolutionizing manufacturing the world over. Conceived from a design for a mechanical arm patented in 1954 by American inventor George Devol, the Unimate was developed as a result of the foresight and business acumen of Joseph Engelberger - the Father of Robotics. After a long story, Animation, the producing company, was acquired in 1989 by Staübli.

Poietis: at the forefront of alternative testing models



Innovation in 3D bioprinting Founded in 2014 and winner of the i-LAB Innovative Technology Business Creation National Competition, Poietis valorizes almost 10 years of research led at the Inserm and the University of Bordeaux focusing on the development of new approaches to tissue engineering. Poietis is a French biotechnology company specializing in the laser-assisted bioprinting of living tissue. It provides industrial stakeholders and researchers with a unique platform to design and manufacture bio-printed products for regenerative medicine, preclinical research and evaluating the efficacy of cosmetic products and ingredients. LE JAPON, INVITÉ D’HONNEUR : ZOOM SUR L’ENTREPRISE INNOVANTE IWASE COSFA



Pour la 4e édition du salon international COSMETIC 360, le Japon sera à l’honneur avec un village « Innovation Japon 360 ».
