CALMELYS™ is an augmented extract of melissa officinalis, concentrated in rosmarinic acid thanks to our ELITE™ platform. In vitro studies demonstrate strong antioxidant properties - with a significant reduction in ROS following exposure to UV radiation - as well as anti-inflammatory activity evidenced by a decrease in IL-6 and TNF-α cytokines. In HRE models, CALMELYS™ strengthens the skin barrier by increasing AQP3 expression and ceramide synthesis. Clinical trials confirm these effects, showing a visible reduction in redness, improved hydration, and decreased dryness, thereby effectively soothing sensitive skin.
