Beauty Tech #Chartres and its Fabrique de la Beauté
The BeautyTech #Chartres network, inspired by the French Tech dynamic, is a network set up by Chartres métropole, Cosmetic Valley and local start-ups to bring together young innovative companies and all those involved in the beauty industry.
Its goals:
To create a network of skills committed to inventing the beauty of tomorrow,
Encourage mutual support,
Encourage and build synergies,
Grow each member's business,
Encourage the development of French beauty talents.
Inside of this ecosystem, Chartres métropole carries the Fabrique de la Beauté, the only start-up incubator in France specialising in the cosmetics industry and located at 101 - la Cité de l’Innovation.
During 1 year, the incubation programme challenges innovative projects, immerses start-ups in the heart of the cosmetics sector (regulations, formulation, packaging, distribution, marketing, communication, financing, etc.) and offers visibility at events (1st contact with customers as part of a pop-up Beauty store, Cosmetic 360 trade show to showcase its innovation, etc.).Each start-up is guided by experts through to the completion of a viable project. Over the last 3 years, 40 start-ups have been supported and 13 new ones started their programme in January 2024.
The incubator works with all industry players, including: the Beauty Hub (France's leading accelerator dedicated to innovation in the perfumery and cosmetics industry), the IBCBS by Régine Ferrère campus (an international beauty school based in Chartres), the Cosmetic Angels (a network of investors), the Initiatives Eure-et-Loir network, etc.
The Fabrique de la Beauté is the springboard to bring your business and/or your concept to the heart of the cosmetics, beauty and well-being sector.
